EFTELING CASE STUDY

Efteling is one of the largest theme parks in Europe, themed around fairy tales, myths, legends, fables and folklore. Efteling is famous for its beautiful landscaping, great attention to detail and excellent rides enjoyed by over four million visitors annually.

Challenge

To optimise the handling of cash and vouchers at entertainment, food and beverage outlets in multiple locations throughout the park. Cash transactions vary widely with smaller outlets taking large volume of coin and larger sites more note and voucher intensive.

Solution

OCS worked closely with our partners at G4S Netherlands and Efteling park operations team, to implement changes required to CASH360™ software and integration of compact cash re-cycling devices to support the specific needs of the multi-location, 365 days-a-year HMS Host operational environment:

  • Integration of Glory CI10B and CI10C Note and Coin compact re-cycling devices for deployment to lower cash volume outlets
  • Integration of NFC card reader for convenient and secure cashier access authorisation
  • Enhance controls for cash dispense
  • Capability to record and securely store Efteling park vouchers to provide for complete and accurate point of sales reporting and re-conciliation.

Following the successful deployment of multiple CASH360™ installations to entertainment and food and beverage outlets around the park, delivery of training and provision of on-going support.
